WELCOME TO THE PANHANDLE PIONEER SETTLEMENT IN BLOUNTSTOWN, FLORIDA
The Panhandle Pioneer Settlement features 18 historic buildings that have been restored and are available to the public. The majority have been furnished with antiques to recreate their original appearance.
Among various attractions in Florida, our museum has bona fide treasures of historic preservation, which are the three styles of log cabins commonly built in Florida. This includes the round log, the split log, and the dovetail log.
We also have animals, an old general store, a blacksmith shop, old tractors in the firehouse, the old piano in the Methodist Church, Doctor Dowling's Office with old medical tools, among the others.
