If you love Ice Cream, do not miss the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement ANNUAL HOMEMADE ICE CREAM SOCIAL!!!
We always anticipate having 20 or more churns with multiple flavors and a variety of goodies to garnish your ice creams. BRING THE KIDS. Pure ingredients with no artificial additives, just good old fashioned "homemade" ice cream at its best!!

The Panhandle Pioneer Settlement will be open for field trips on the days listed. Various artisans offer demonstrations. Students will have a chance to sit in the two-room schoolhouse, view the vegetable garden, visit the family cabins, grind corn and feed the chickens, see the blacksmith at work, compare tools of yesterday with those of today, taste homemade biscuits cooked in an old-tyme wood burning stove, tour the Dr.'s office, hear about the community experience during a hog killing, and visit the general store, where purchases can be made.
*The cost per student and adults/chaperones is $6.00 for tax exempt ($6.45 with NO Tax Exempt Form.) Teachers and bus drivers are free.

***Blacksmith Class***
Call to register before the class is filled.
Join us in the art of shaping heated iron and steel (forging) with hand tools. This will be an all-day event, so pack your lunch. You must be 18 years old or accompanied by an adult. Required items you must bring or wear: Safety Glasses, Leather Gloves, and Long Pants.

The Hymn Sings are normally on the 2nd Sunday of every month (EXCEPT NOVEMBER & DECEMBER)- Please check with the office to confirm.

Monday through Friday 10:00-2:00 cst
Self-Guided Tours:
$5.00 per person 5 Years Old and up
Guided Tours with access to the buildings:
$12.00 per person 13-54 Years old
$ 9.00 per person Seniors 55 and older
$ 9.00 per person Military with ID
$ 9.00 per person Children 5-12 years old
Appointments recommended, but not required.
Let us know if you have a special request or special need.
